You can connect to our payment gateway using oAuth 2.0. This means that you have to get a token using the key and secret of the channel you want to connect with to request a token, with the following steps:
- Encode your key and secret using Base64 as key:secret
- Use this encoded value in the Authorization Header in your message to request a token via Basic Authorization at https://authorization.betterworld.nl/auth/v1/token/request
- When your authorization is granted you will receive a response with a body like:

- You can check the jti using JWT decoding to check if the signature and the token is valid
- To send a request to the payment gateway you can include the received access_token into your Authorization Header as a Bearer Token.
